Use:
The Compact Washer is used in stock preparation to remove fine solids (ash, inactive fines, ink particles).
It is also used as a thickener in the following process steps
Working principle:
► The slot nozzle of the sump and then spraying into the joint between the endless screen and the grooved breast roller
► The one-sided dewatering between the breast roll and the screen creates a fiber fleece on the screen and reaches the drive roller. The second stage of the washing process takes place thanks to the smooth surface.
► The pressure on the nonwoven sticks to the drive roller, where it is removed by an oscillating, contactless doctor blade. Finally, they are transported to the next process step by screw conveyor
► The fiber fleece falls into a filling funnel and the filtrate collects in a basin and is directed to a ventilation container
